Group Sessions
As performers, our bodies and voices are our instruments — and they’re working hard for us every day. It’s so easy to let little tensions build up or to push through when things feel tight or tired. Finding the time (and money) for regular one-to-one sessions can be tough, but that doesn’t mean your self-care has to take a back seat. These group sessions are a chance to check in, breathe, and do some gentle, focused work together — keeping you connected to your body and voice without breaking the bank.

A Weekly Breath-work Class For Performers
Life as a performer moves fast — full schedules, long days, and constant demands on your body, breath, and voice. Over time, those pressures can build up, creating small tensions and habits that can start to limit your freedom, ease, and expression.
This weekly group class offers you the space to slow down, check in, and reconnect with yourself — your body, your breath, and your voice.

What to Expect
Led by Lucy Dexter — Voice Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Singing & Spoken Voice Coach — these sessions combine gentle movement, guided breathwork, and voice exploration.
You’ll be invited to:
-
Release physical and vocal tension
-
Rebalance your body’s natural breath patterns
-
Create space to quiet a busy mind
-
Reconnect with your expressive self
Drawing on voice pedagogy, floor-based bodywork, and The Accent Method Approach, each class uses breath as the foundation for both movement and sound. Lucy’s aim is for you to leave each session feeling grounded, open, and re-energised.

Who It’s For
Actors, singers, dancers, and creatives — anyone whose work relies on their voice and body, and who wants to maintain balance, freedom, and ease in their practice.
You don’t need to come every week; join when you can, and when you feel you need a reset. Some repetition is built in — it’s part of reconnecting and forming healthy patterns that support your voice and body long-term.
Classes are kept small so Lucy can give each participant individual attention and guidance.

Why Group Work?
