With a unique blend of clinical expertise and performance training, Lucy is a highly qualified Voice Specialist Speech Therapist, Vocal Coach, and Singing Specialist dedicated to supporting professional singers in achieving optimal vocal health and performance. She holds an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (Distinction) from Manchester Metropolitan University, where her research focused on UK professional singers’ knowledge of typical and atypical vocal function and the role of the SLT in vocal management. Her academic foundation includes a BA(Hons) in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Hull and vocational training in classical acting at The Poor School, London, where daily instruction in voice, movement, and singing refined her understanding of the voice as both an instrument and an expressive tool.

Lucy is committed to evidence-based voice care and continued professional development, with specialist training in the Lax Vox Method, Accent Method, SOVT (including therapy and pedagogical applications), Estill Voice Training (Levels 1 & 2), and endoscopic evaluation of the singing voice. She regularly attends national voice clinics forums and conferences through the British Voice Association and British Laryngological Association, ensuring her practice is informed by the latest in vocal science and performance pedagogy. A member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Health and Care Professions Council, The British Voice Association, and The British Laryngological Association, she integrates clinical knowledge with vocal artistry to support singers across genres in maintaining vocal wellness, navigating vocal challenges, and reaching their full expressive potential.

"...by combining her scientific and clinical knowledge of the voice with her real life experience as having been a professional singer & actor, she is able to advise her clients in a very unique way...I highly recommend her as an SLT, singing teacher, and key opinion leader."
